A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Can I use the Free Online tool yet?+
Yes. Open the Free Online editor at /tools/invoice to create an invoice, keep a browser draft and print or save as PDF. Premium downloads are still in development.
Will I need a Smariit account?+
Free Online needs no account. Paid online editions require an account with access; public purchases are not open yet. Future Combo packages will provide online access, while single-product purchases will provide desktop downloads. An account may hold both. Desktop tools continue to run locally without website login or cloud sync.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?+
Free is for creating a complete, polished invoice with one ready-made template. Premium adds branding, reusable customer and service details, multiple drafts, invoice history and local backups for ongoing business use.
Is Premium a cloud subscription?+
No. The first Premium edition is planned as a one-time purchase, download-oriented and local-first. Cloud sync, multiple devices, team members, online payments, email delivery, recurring invoices, automation and a customer portal belong to a possible future Cloud Subscription, not this release.
How will drafts and backups work?+
Free restores one local draft in the same browser and saves each edit. Clearing browser storage removes it. If storage is blocked or full, you can still edit and print, but unsaved changes can be lost on refresh. The Premium workspace preview stores multiple invoices and libraries in IndexedDB. Choose Save changes to keep each revision, and export JSON backups regularly. Neither edition includes cloud backup or automatic device sync.
How will PDF export and currencies work?+
Free uses your browser’s Print / Save as PDF dialog with an A4 invoice layout. Choose A4, 100% scale, and turn off browser headers and footers. Free supports CAD, USD, EUR, GBP and CNY, with the same currencies planned for Premium. Changing currency changes the denomination; it does not convert amounts using exchange rates.
How much will Premium cost, and what can I download?+
Starter: CA$9.99 one-time; Plus: CA$19.99 one-time; Premium: CA$39.99 one-time. Windows desktop downloads are in development; purchase is not open. Public template previews are available without an account; the Premium editor requires account access.
